Didactic Theatre of Political Economy
Didactic theatre is the use of dramaturgy, i.e. writing and putting on plays, to teach various disciplines. It helps students to gain a better insight into the topic and make it their own in order to transmit it to the public. It is an effective tool to teach economics because students, who are directly involved in the writing of texts, deepen their understanding of the main concepts of the discipline and learn how to communicate them effectively. The didactic theatre is twice didactic since it is also an excellent means of dissemination, outside the university, of economic knowledge on many aspects of the life of all citizens.
